| ISEKI resolved to change the fiscal year of the company at the board of directors
held on February 9, 2007 as set out below. The change is subject to approval
of "partial change of the Articles of Association"at the ordinary shareholders
meeting to be held in late June 2007. |

Reason for the change |

By integrating the fiscal year of
ISEKI and the consolidated subsidiaries, the company intends to attain more
timely disclosure of management information like the quarterly settlements
as well as enhancing further transparency of the management. |

Current fiscal year end: March 31
New fiscal year end: December 31
The 84th fiscal year will be the nine-month period from April 1, 2007 to December
31, 2007 and serve as a transitional period for the new fiscal year.
The same change of fiscal year will be made to the following consolidated subsidiaries
which have an identical fiscal year ending March 31.
Iseki-Matsuyama Mfg. Co., Ltd., Iseki-Kumamoto Mfg. Co., Ltd., Iseki-Niigata
Mfg. Co., Ltd.,
Iseki-Houei Mfg. Co., Ltd.,Isec Co., Ltd., Agrip Co., Ltd., Iseki-Butsuryu
Co.,
Ltd., Sum Electro Mechanics Co., Ltd.and six other companies.
Domestic sales companies and overseas subsidiaries
out of cousolidated subsidiaries now have fiscal year ending December 31. |

Future prospects |

Business prospects for the 84th fiscal year (from April 1, 2007 to December
31, 2007) will be given at the Summary Announcement of Consolidated Financial
Results for FY 2007 ending March 31 which is scheduled to be announced in
mid-May 2007. |
